Lia Lowenthal is an interdisciplinary artist and designer based in New York City. Lowenthal’s practice explores themes such as, but not limited to: how form is situated within the social history of commodities; artisan economies and political performance; jewelry; model architectures; model architectures as portrayed in jewelry.
Lowenthal is also founder and principal at LL, LLC, a jewelry line that merges start-up methodologies with artisan histories and techniques.
