In Long Lasting Loveliness, Lowenthal presents sculptures based on a Victorian tea service set that becomes reconfigured into forms derived from social infrastructures, gestures, and the language of consumption and exchange. Cammisa Buerhaus enacts the character of an art dealer, who slings a hyperbolic sales pitch that slips into a hysterical personal monologue. When the art dealer, exposed as a ghost, goes home, her atonal piano melody remains in the spaces between.
